Dr. Chambers graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, his hometown, with majors in biology and chemistry. He then attended the University of Tennessee at Memphis, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Chambers completed his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in June of 1998. He subsequently joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin immediately following his residency.
Dr. Chambers is board-certified in pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a clinical instructor at Vanderbilt School of Medicine. He is also a member of the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation, the Christian Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Chambers has served in the past as Chief of Pediatrics at Williamson Medical Center and as a former director on the board for Mercy Community Healthcare.
Dr. Chambers has been happily married for over 22 years. He and his wife are parents of one daughter and two sons.
