Dr. Carr is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, where he was a psychology major. He then attended Loyola University in his hometown of Chicago, where he received his medical degree. Dr. Carr completed his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in June of 1999, and then joined Pediatric Associates of Franklin.
Dr. Carr has served as the President and Managing Partner of Pediatric Associates of Franklin since 2001. He has also served on numerous hospital boards and committees and currently sits on the Centennial Children’s Hospital Community Advisory Board.
Dr. Carr is board-certified in pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is a clinical instructor at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Dr. Carr is also a member of the Cumberland Pediatric Foundation and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Carr has been voted numerous times as a Favorite Doc by the readers of the Williamson Parent Magazine. Dr. Carr has been married for over 20 years and has two sons and a daughter.
